This Thanksgiving weekend, Hailee Steinfeld has plenty to be thankful for. In a charming Instagram post on Friday, the singer-actress and her partner, Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, revealed their engagement on November 22.
A picture of the proposal was shared on Instagram by Steinfeld and Allen together. It shows Allen on one knee while Steinfeld leans in to kiss him. The sun sinking over the ocean and a stunning flower backdrop surround the couple in the picture.
After being sighted together in New York City in May 2023, Steinfeld and Allen were initially connected. During that month, people acknowledged being in a relationship.
Allen visited the Pardon My Take podcast in August 2023 and made jokes about news about a recent trip the couple had taken, despite the fact that they have rarely discussed their relationship in public. He remarked, “It still amazes me that anyone cares about that.”
Allen made things “official” on Instagram last summer when he posted a picture of himself and Steinfeld in Paris, both of them gazing at the Eiffel Tower. The two invited many of Allen’s teammates to their Halloween party, which had a circus theme, a few weeks ago. Allen wrote, “👑❤️,” on the image, which she captioned, “Welcome to the showdown.”
Recently, Steinfeld has taken a hiatus from performing. After releasing “Coast” with Anderson in 2022, she released “SunKissing” in 2023, her final single.Paak. She provided the voices of Vi in Netflix’s Arcane, which debuted a new season earlier this fall, and Hawkeye in the animated Marvel series What If? Next year, the actress will also feature in Sinners, which is directed by Ryan Coogler.
